Arlanda Airport consists of four terminals: 2, 3, 4, and 5. Most domestic flights are served by Terminal 4, as well as Terminal 3. International flights are served at Terminals 2 and 5. SkyCity is located between Terminals 4 and 5. SkyCity is not a terminal but a part of Arlanda Airport that is open to visitors.
Moving between the terminals at Stockholm-Arlanda is easy and fast. You can do it on foot or use one of the free transfer options: Arlanda shuttle bus or Arlanda Express high-speed train.
Terminal 2 is the second-largest terminal at Arlanda for international air travel. This terminal serves airlines such as Air France, KLM, Finnair, Air Baltic, British Airways, and Iberia.
Terminal 4 primarily serves budget airlines (Ryanair, LOT).
Terminal 5 is the largest terminal at the airport and serves airlines such as SAS, Lufthansa, Norwegian, Swiss, Austrian Airlines, Eurowings, Delta Airlines, Turkish Airlines, Icelandair, TAP, and Emirates. Most of the airport's restaurants, bars, cafes, and shops are also located here.
SkyCity is located between Terminals 4 and 5 and is open to both visitors and travelers. Here, you can explore numerous shops, restaurants, and cafes.
There are several parking options at Arlanda. Full prices for various options can be found on the Arlanda website. Be sure to book your parking at Arlanda in advance to guarantee availability.
Drop-off and pick-up parking is available at Terminals 2, 4, 5, and SkyCity. Here, you can park for a minimum of 30 minutes and a maximum of 1 hour.
For those who want to be close to SkyCity and Terminals 4 and 5, SkyCity Parking is a good option. Here, you can park in a heated garage with surveillance cameras.
For those who want to park in close proximity to one of the four Arlanda terminals, both covered and open short-term parking options are available.
Arlanda has two long-term parking areas. They are located a bit away from the terminals, but you can easily reach them using free buses that run every 6-10 minutes.
Arlanda Airport is located approximately 7 miles from the center of Stockholm and about 6 miles from the center of Uppsala. If you are coming from central Stockholm, follow the E4 highway north and follow the signs to the airport. If you are coming from Uppsala, follow E4 south and then follow the signs to the airport. The train is the easiest way to get to Stockholm-Arlanda and back. You can choose from the Arlanda Express high-speed train, commuter train, or long-distance train. With the Arlanda Express high-speed train, you can reach Stockholm's central station and back in just 20 minutes. The SL commuter train departs from Arlanda's central station and will take you to Uppsala in 18 minutes, with a travel time to Stockholm's central station of 38 minutes. Additionally, 60 long-distance trains depart and arrive daily at Arlanda's railway station, located in SkyCity, and back.
